In 2016, the Eller Academy mentor programme was launched in Heino Eller Tartu Music College, which brings well-known professionals in their field, who are undergoing training in Europe, to regularly teach at the school. The musicians visit the Heino Eller Tartu Music College two to four times per year, mainly giving lessons to Eller students, but also to others. To date, the teachers of Eller Academy have included Heili Rosin (flute), Guntis Kuzma (clarinet), Tatiana Chernichka (piano), Indrek Leivategija (cello), Rūta Lipinaitytė (violin), Miloš Petrović (violin), Wolfgang Rings (viola), Nicolas Prost (saxophone), Jaak Sikk (improvisation), Sergio Castrillon (improvisation) ja Patricio Zeoli (guitar), Jueyoung Yang (violin), Minkyung Sul (violin) and Paulina Riquelme (viola).
